Season Opener 2010

Man, it was cold! The season began with a terrific trip to Meribel. The week started cold and sunny, then it got colder and colder. Temperatures approaching -30ºC in the village meant a couple of frostbitten toes, but huge smiles as the snow started to fall mid-week. It was the lightest champagne snow, which meant an enjoyable intro to powder skiing.
